Disabled youngsters work on plan for their future
March 17, 2009, Norfolk, VA – Reporter Vanessa Coria of WVEC-TV13 (ABC) visits students with disabilities attending the 24th Annual Virginia Transition Forum in Norfolk, as they learn leadership skills and plan for future beyond high school. The Virginia Transition Forum is the single largest source of training and technical assistance for rehabilitation and education personnel serving youth with disabilities, drawing more than 1,000 attendees annually to address the multiple issues facing youth with disabilities as they prepare for life after school.
